if it’s hard work just thinking about doing it,
don’t do it.
if you’re trying to write like somebody
else,
forget about it.

my stomach took me by surprise this morning when i tried to finish the last bit of kimchi in the fridge. apparently now it has decided that i cannot look smell taste, or even think about kimchi or any kind of korean food without feeling nauseous.

meaning believing in at least 6 impossible things everyday before breakfast

1. i will get into graduate school
2. i will get the internship/job i want
3. i do not need to diet
4. i do not need to prove myself to anyone
5. my dreams will be achieved
6. there is good in humanity
